How to pay on peptibase.
Two payment rails. Pick whichever fits you better. Card via Peer is the easy one; direct crypto is the cheap one (zero added fees).
Option 1 · Easy

Pay in seconds with an app you already have. No Peer account, no sign-up, and for Venmo, Cash App, PayPal and Wise, no browser extension. We never see your card or login details.
- 1.Pick "Pay via Peer" at checkout and open the payment link.
- 2.Open Venmo, Cash App, PayPal or Wise and send the exact amount, just like paying a friend.
- 3.Paste your transaction ID (or a screenshot) back on the Peer page. Confirmed in seconds.
Using Revolut, Monzo or another app? You'll add a quick, free browser extension that confirms your payment automatically. Same result, still seconds. A processing fee is added on the Peer page (you'll see the exact amount before you pay), charged by Peer, not peptibase. Want zero fees? Pay direct in crypto.
Option 2 · Cheapest

Send USDT or USDC straight to our wallet. No card middleman, no extra fee. You only pay the network gas (typically a few cents on Solana, a few dollars on Ethereum).
- 1.Pick "Pay direct with crypto" at checkout, OR send straight from your wallet.
- 2.Send the order total in USDT or USDC on Solana (fastest) or Ethereum.
- 3.Reply to your order confirmation email with the transaction ID. We confirm + ship.
Critical: Send only USDT or USDC on the correct network. Sending the wrong asset or a different chain means we can't credit your order.
What happens next
From payment to shipped.
Order placed. You get a confirmation email with your order ID and our wallet (if you picked crypto).
Payment lands. Peer settles in minutes. Direct crypto is confirmed on-chain in ~1 minute (Solana) or ~5 minutes (Ethereum). For crypto, reply to your confirmation email with the transaction ID so we can match it to your order.
Vendor ships. Once we confirm payment, we release the order to the vendor. Most ship same-day or next business day, with tracking emailed to you.
Refunds
How refunds work.
When a refund is due, it goes out in crypto (USDT or USDC), sent to a wallet address you give us. This is the case no matter how you originally paid.
Here is why: even when you pay through Peer using Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, or similar, that payment is swapped into stablecoins before it reaches us. We never hold a Venmo, PayPal, or card balance, so there is nothing on those rails for us to send a refund back through. Crypto is the only balance we have, so crypto is what we refund from.
No crypto wallet? If receiving crypto genuinely is not an option for you, email hello@peptibase.dev and we will arrange an alternative. Most people have a method that works.

Payment FAQ.
Why two payment methods?+
Choice. Most people want a one-click card-style flow - that's Peer. Some people prefer crypto because it's cheaper and more private - that's direct crypto. Both end up in the same place: a paid order.
Why is direct crypto 0% fee?+
Because there's no card-network middleman to pay. You send funds to our wallet on a public blockchain, we see it arrive, we credit your order. The only cost is the network's gas fee, which you pay to the blockchain validators (a few cents on Solana, a few dollars on Ethereum).
Which network should I use for direct crypto?+
Solana if you can - it confirms in about 1 second for under $0.01 in gas. Ethereum works too but the gas fee is usually $3-10 and confirmation takes a few minutes. Both addresses accept USDT or USDC (stablecoins, pegged 1:1 to USD).
What if I send to the wrong network?+
Don't. The two addresses listed look similar but they're on completely different blockchains. If you send a Solana-format asset to the Ethereum address (or vice versa), the funds are lost and we cannot recover them. Always double-check the network selector in your wallet before sending.
Can I pay in BTC, ETH, or other cryptos?+
Today: only USDT or USDC. We keep it simple because exchange-rate risk on volatile assets creates payment disputes. If you only have BTC or ETH, swap to USDC first using any major exchange or DEX, then send.
How fast is the order confirmed?+
Peer: within minutes of payment settling. Direct crypto: as soon as we see the transaction on-chain AND match it to your order (typically same day; faster if you reply with the transaction ID).
Can I get a refund?+
If your order hasn't shipped yet, yes. Once a vendor has accepted the order and started fulfillment, refunds depend on the situation. Refunds are sent in crypto (USDT or USDC) to a wallet you provide, even if you paid via Peer, because that's the only balance we hold on our side. If crypto isn't an option for you, email hello@peptibase.dev and we'll arrange an alternative.
